Things you should know about working as a Merchandising Supervisor:


┬ 


This position is responsible for providing leadership, coaching and training of Merchandiser Supervisors.┬  This position is responsible for covering multiple Retail Sales Areas within a Market Unit. This position will ensure functional collaboration with the Director of Retail Sales, Area Sales Managers and the Customer Development teams by attending meetings and market visits with key decision makers in the various chains.┬  This position may require some weekend work and overnight travel as necessary.┬ ┬

What would success look like?


┬ 



  • Inspect performance of Merchandising Supervisors and large/small store merchandisers by visiting accounts to ensure performance meets CCBCC standards. Conduct a minimum of three R.E.D. days per week and visiting a minimum of 30 stores per week

  • Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure optimal customer service thru effective planning of resource needs weekly

  • Review MARS reports to optimize efficiencies while not inhibiting customer service.

  • Work with Merchandiser Supervisors to develop various schedules that utilize resources that optimize customer service and efficiencies. IE; on AD Vs. Off AD schedules, ratio of full time and part time workforce, delivery schedules, etc.

  • Ensure collaboration with Director of Retail Sales and Area Sales Managers to discuss merchandising performance, opportunities and offer suggestions for continuous improvement.

  • Manage the cost per case for bulk merchandising vs. budget

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good communication and people management skills

  • An understanding of the different functions of each sales discipline and how they relate to each other to ensure the achievement of overall business objectives of the branch

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Leadership skills: influencing, teambuilding, recognizing others

  • Managerial courage and good demonstrated solving abilities

  • Ability to walk accounts up to 8 hours per day, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. as necessary with training of merchandisers or assisting in servicing an account

  • Candidates with previous sales and delivery experience, and experience managing a part-time work force is preferred

  • High School diploma required.┬  Four-year degree preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
