Shipping / Receiving Coordinator

We are looking for career oriented, hardworking and dependable professionals to join our production team. SGS is looking for people who can work independently, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and eventually cross train in multiple positions. Our facility operates 24/7, the right candidates must be able to work shift work to qualify. Starting pay is $16 (plus shift differential) per hour with no experience. Position Summary
The role of this position is to verify and keep shipping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipping as needed.
Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results
Act as primary contact for shipping companies and couriers.
Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments.
Deliver any incoming shipments to appropriate parties.
Recycle all materials that are ready to go.
Print out, create new orders and make packing lists.
Properly package materials for shipping locally, domestically and internationally.
Perform Warehouse duties as required and maintain a clean warehouse.
Identify and store materials in warehouse/stockrooms.
Coordinate transportation of goods.
Man shipping/receiving doors and load/unload trucks.
Manage shipping supply levels and act as back-up for janitorial services.
Work overtime as needed.
Assist in any additional responsibilities, as directed by management.

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License to operate a 26' Box Truck.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
